In the centre of Cordoba, next to the convent church of Santa Ana, stands the majestic Carbonell house, the birthplace of Ángel de Saavedra, Duke of Rivas, the romantic writer. Acquired by the Carbonell family at the beginning of the 20th century, the aesthetic of the place corresponds to that of the hotels or mansions of the end of the 19th century.
The beautiful entrance courtyard is enclosed by a beautiful gate with the date 1881. The entrance to the building is covered with a glass and iron canopy in the Art Nouveau style.
It currently houses the headquarters of the municipal company VIMCORSA, with large rooms dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
